The Robert S. Detrick papers consist mainly of materials relating to several scientific projects, as well as several folders of computer programs used for analysis of data.

The papers of John M. Hunt span the years 1962-1994, and consist of documents reflecting Dr. Hunt’s role as Head of the Chemistry Department and as a Senior Scientist of the Institution, 1964-1994. One series pertains to his role as a paid consultant for INTEVEP, an affiliate of Petróleos de Venezuela.

The Daniel Merriman papers consist of an unpublished manuscript entitled

Challenger of Neptune. Also included is a folder on the “YASA” Expedition with which Merriman was affiliated, and 28 lantern slides relating to a lecture on the HMS Challenger expedition.
